Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy in Type 1 Diabetes - Clinical Case 12

Fluorescein angiogram in a 55-year-old patient diagnosed with diabetes more than 20 years ago, showing microaneurysms and areas of ischemia.

Eight months after cataract surgery (phacoemulsification and IOL), vitrectomy and laser photocoagulation (neovascular glaucoma). Treatment with intraocular injections of anti-VEGFs.
