Fundus photograph of Stickler syndrome in a 7-year-old male patient. He has a systemic phenotype with mediofacial hypoplasia, moderate deafness, micrognathia, hyperextensible joints and cleft palate. His mother has an identical phenotype with an history of hight myopia and retinal detachment. Note the two horizontal vitreous bands along the superior and inferior arcades
